Wesley Henry 43, Actor/ Odd Job Man
Wesley is a 43 year old divorcee living back home with his aging nan and mother in Bromsgrove. His ex wife left him for an amateur body builder and life coach. The split hit Wesley pretty hard and he has found it a struggle to get back on his feet ever since. After the separation Wesley decided it was time for a change so he quit his job and ploughed his savings into acting lessons. This change of career all came off the back of passing comment from a middle aged woman in Ikea whilst Wesley was in the midst of an aggressive nervous breakdown. Consoling Wesley about his physique the lady said he had the 'ideal sized head for television' and this set him on his way.
With such a proportionally large head and with his wife leaving him for a brick shithouse Wesley developed an obsession with trying to build his upper body up. He began to wear padded sports clothing and bold patterned outfits to draw attention to and readdress the balance of his body. His inadequacy complex was fuelled further after he spent a month’s wages on a large format actors head shot photograph, only for his shoulders and upper body to be rendered completely invisible in order to move the camera back far enough to fit the full panorama of his vast head in the same shot (see here). In the photographs above computer wizardry has managed to get Wesley's face on a head with shoulders in the same shot for the first time.
Determined to pursue his acting career and prove his critics wrong Wesley has started writing and performing his own material. He feels if he can just get these next few months out of the way he could be on the cusp of something great.
